Wallingford BunkFest

Wallingford BunkFest works to support the local community and its organisations.
29th - 31st August 2008 www.bunkfest.co.uk Our main aim is to give the town a unique weekend of music and dance that all can enjoy and of which the Town can be proud. The festival has raised the tourist profile of the town and so it also brings significant extra income to local businesses. Over the years we have donated over £10,000 to local causes, but although we do our best it is not guaranteed that we can make cash donations each year as the costs involved in running the ever-expanding festival are very high and we must make sure we can pay our bills now and in the future. However, by raising awareness of local community organisations e.g. through our Community Street Fair, we try to provide significant benefits in kind each year for as many as can be involved. www.bunkfest.co.uk |
