Are you aged between 16 and 35 or under 1.7 metres in bare feet? If you can answer yes to any of the 3 questions, then perhaps you may have the role of one of the 20 hobbits for the Lord Of The Rings stage show.
Auditions are being held at the London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane for people to play the cute creatures from the Shire. The theatre is staging a multi-million-pound musical version of the JRR Tolkien's classic. Actors and singers who go to the audition on Monday, 18th September will be required to sign two songs and display hobbit-like tendencies. The London show will have a cast of about 50, which is believed to be the largest in any West End Show, along with 90 musicians and crew. |
