Bandai Co. has recently created a new virtual pet, though this time is hopes that it will attract stressed office workers who want to watch someone else hard at work.
Whether this is true, this new pet enables digital ants on a handheld screen build and destroy nets, find caterpillars to feed their queen ant and if they are not too careful get eaten by passing spiders. In Japan, Bandai say that fancy toys are a big hit with adults, and can easily be used as a "snazzy interior decoration". Whether you are undertaking a science project by studying ants, or taking a rest from the hard days work on a PC, why not consider purchasing a Ant's Life Studio. An interactive game, with over 100 different nests, this 15 cm toy is priced around £60.00 and should be selling in the UK from November 2006. |
