Wellington Country Park is a wonderful place for walking with children. With facilities offering safe play areas, beautiful nature trails, a lakeside walk, childrens animal farm, adventure playground, miniature railway, sandpit, fishing lake, cafe, gift and toy shop, picnic and barbeque areas it is well worth a visit.
The park is located within 350 acres of woodland, parkland and lakes and part of the estate of the Duke of Wellington. Stratfield Saye House is located close by. Visitors are welcome to bring their own rowing boats or canoes. With a 4 star touring campsite Wellington Country Park can host visitors from a small group of 20 to 5,000 visitors, making it an ideal location for club rallies, company picnics and barbeques.
