The Living Rainforest
|
As soon as you enter you feel The Living Rainforest it feels you have been transported to another part of the world.
The Living Rainforest is a wonderful public education institution that is passionate about telling the story of humanity in nature. It enables all ages of visitors to learn about life by interactive participation. With an ethos of "believing in education in context, and sustainability in action" this enables to The Living Rainforest to be an amazing place to visit. Whether you wish to see the Giant Waterlily which float across the pond suring summer at 2.6metres in width, or watch the Dwarf Crocodile sunbaking on her island, wonder through a marked rainforest train or even watch the colony of Goeldi's Monkeys interact and hear there unsual array of calls. With family events being held over weekends there are lots of entertainment for young and old. Just make sure you don't go home with an extra family member as there are free roaming lizards, birds and butterflies! |
