Things to do in Berkshire with kids
|
This weekend, between family activities, we’ve been searching around for content for our Kids in Berkshire website. It gets around 3000 visitors a month and we have been frustrated by the lack of content on the space. There has been no time to add content as other projects have taken priority!
With the summer upon us it made sense to spend some time adding stuff as the information will be useful for us this summer if nothing else. Go check out the site and you’ll see we’ve added a ton of content. If you know of events that should be listed then tell us and we’ll add them. Complete our Families days out form. This weekend has been a tad miserable. We took a walk over to the “Wag and Bone” show in Windsor on Saturday and got drenched on the way home! What was really good about the show was the entrance fee. It was £30 for a family and in this economic climate, thirty is a good number. We also bumped into Chloe’s guitar teacher, he works for Battersea, nice chap. For Sunday we’d tuned into family fun at Music and Dance in the Park, but the rains were on and off so we decided to go to see Mamma Mia! at the cinema in Maidenhead. When we go to the cinema we like to sit up front so the screen surrounds you. Brilliant film, get yourself along and enjoy this 'must see' film of the summer. Its even worth staying til the end of the credits for some classic bonus footage... Back to work for me Monday. The rest of my gang had planned to go off up to London or they’ll more likely stay in and invite a few friends over if the weather stays like this... although according to Google is should be sunnier. And why have Google got into weather... because it’s one of the top searches on the web... thousands searching for it every day. Go take a look at our new improved www.kidsinberkshire.co.uk website and tell us if we’re missing something. |
